Open Positions - Dept. Molecular Membrane Biology

PhD student

The Max Planck Institute of Biophysics, Department of Molecular Membrane Biology, has an opening for a

                                           PhD student

to work on the recombinant expression, purification and characterization of human secondary active transporters in human cell lines. For further information, contact Dr. Michela Castellani (069-6303-1013). Applications should contain the name of at least one referee and have to be sent electronically to michela.castellani@biophys.mpg.de . Only applications received until Jun 16th will be considered.

The Max Planck Society is an equal opportunity employer, and particularly encourages female applicants. It also tries to increase the proportion of scientists with physical disabilities. Respective applications are welcome.

Master - Diploma Thesis - Molecular Membrane Biology

The Max Planck Institute of Biophysics, Department of Molecular Membrane Biology, has openings for:
                                     Master and diploma theses
to work on the production, purification, and characterization of selected G-protein coupled receptors (GPCRs) and subsequent crystallization of these membrane proteins for structure determination by X-ray crystallography.

Further information is available upon request. Please contact Dr. Julia Preu (tel. 069 6303 1048). Applications, including the name of at least one referee, should be sent, preferably electronically, to:
