A postdoctoral position is available in the Department of Structural Biology at the MPI of Biophysics to investigate the molecular basis of ageing in yeast. Candidates should have a strong background in yeast genetics or molecular biology. Research experience in membrane biochemistry or membrane protein structure and function would be an asset. Projects for a Master degree or Diploma thesis in Biochemistry/Structural Biology (or Bachelor degree or practical training) in the field of cellular energy conversion and/or antibiotic resistance.
