I am writing my bachelor's thesis under the supervision of Dr. Beata Turonova with a focus on development of algorithms for cryo electron tomography and subtomogram averaging. Our preliminary direction is the implementation of local alignments in NovaCTF and precise defocus values assignment, and their impact on final tomogram resolution - this will be further scoped during the summer.
