Bank Account

A German Bank Account is needed for several reasons, like depositing wages or renting an appartment.

To open a bank account, you need to present your national identification document, your German registration certificate and usually a pay statement or your employment conctract. With these documents you can apply for a current account and an EC card with the bank of your choice.
